Baked Tortilla Chips

white or yellow corn tortillas
garlic powder

Preheat oven to 400°

Cut 6 or so tortillas into triangles and place on cookie sheet, and spray liberally with cooking spray.

Sprinkle tortillas with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Bake for 9 – 10 mins.

Remove from oven and serve with any number of salsas, dips, cheeses, etc.


Our Thoughts:

This is a great snack that Jen and Jeremy make frequently.  Not only is it healthier than fried tortilla chips or baked tortilla chips that are mass produced, but it creates a flavor and texture that you’re just not getting out of a bag.  You can also season them however you like.  We served these the other night while we were watching a film as a snack, with homemade buffalo chicken dip and spinach dip.  Give it a try!
